Lumberjack Sam

    Lumberjack Sam

Sam smiles broadly as another tree hits the forest floor. That marks his tenth tree for the day. He drops his axe to rest his aching arms, and looks around to find Tom. Tom is resting, too, sitting with his back to a moss covered stone.
"Hey, Tom! How many trees have you got?" Asks Sam cheerfully.
"Oh, just three. My arms are tired."
Sam checks the slightly visible sky through the trees, saying, "It'll be dark soon, we should get going. Where's Joe?"
Tom points to a figure lying against the base of a tree. "He's been there sleeping the whole day."
Sam and Tom walk over and wake the sleeping lumberjack. The three of them walk back to the lumberjack headquarters, eager for their pay.
After a short walk through the forest, they reach their destination. Lumberjack headquarters.

        Now here are the results:

Lumberjack Sam chops down 10 trees today.
Lumberjack Tom chops 3.
Lumberjack Joe takes a nap.

Each tree pays the group fifteen coins.

Lumberjack Sam is payed 65 coins.
Lumberjack Tom is payed 65.
Lumberjack Joe is payed 65.

Tom is happy.
Joe is happy.
Sam doesn't matter.
