Win the race.
You will be happy.
I will be sad.
Get the money.
You will be happy.
I will be sad.
Own the castle
You will be happy.
I will be sad.
Rule the world.
You will be happy.
I will be sad.
Have responsibility.
I will be happy.
You will be sad.
I win.
You loose.
I am happy.

Pictures of Athena
I went to my mom's work today with Athena. We put a net on her, and I took some cool pictures. (These are my favorites.)

The Best Rhyme Sound
I seem to be using words that rhyme with pie a lot recently.
Rhyme Zone Rhyming with Pie
There's a lot of good, short words that rhyme with pie.. (Yay!)
..I think I'm starting to over use it..

Pass By
When people
pass by and never
say hi--
I cry.
When I cry
with wet soggy
eyes I lie--
Alone.
But someday
I
will rule
the world and--
Smile.

with wet soggy
eyes I lie--
Alone.
But someday

Dry
They'll get you--
no place to hide
They'll get you--
and never subside
They'll get you--
when you are near
They'll get you--
so cower in fear
Run away--
and be very quick
Run away--
escape is the trick
Run away--
but don't ever cry
Run away--
and keep your eyes dry
no place to hide
They'll get you--
and never subside
They'll get you--
when you are near
They'll get you--
so cower in fear
Run away--
and be very quick

Survive
after you win
do not grin
I will be
alive
after you've won
don't think that
you're done
I will still
thrive
soon we'll fight
showing might
and then you
will not
survive
do not grin
I will be
alive
after you've won
don't think that
you're done
I will still
thrive
soon we'll fight
showing might
and then you
will not
survive

Please
explode.
With me.
And hold
my hand.
With glee.
Please
endure.
With me.
And we
will then.
Be free.

Homework Avoider (Random Drawing)
I found a cool fine-tip slightly bleeding pen that looks awesome. I was doodling, trying out my new pen, and avoiding my homework. (Don't worry, I got it done in the end.) It also agrees with my scanner more than pencil- I didn't have to edit this at all to make it look clear and nice.

NOT magnificent
NOT magnificent
We thought it was a monster
but it was only a mouse
who wanted to steal our money.
With the help of a moose.
The problem was that they could not make the money move.
It was NOT magnificent.
That day was NOT magnificent
when the monster
could not make the money move.
But it was only a mouse.
With the help of a moose.
They failed to steal the money.
They needed the money
and it was NOT magnificent.
Even with the help of a moose.
This caused trouble for the monster.
But it was only a mouse
who could not make the money move.
And though they tried to make the money move
They failed to get the money.
For it was only a mouse
that was NOT magnificent
and was NOT a monster
with the help of a moose.
With the help of a moose
they could not make the money move.
Because they were not a monster
and simply wanted the money.
But it was NOT magnificent
because they were only a mouse.
They were only a mouse
with the help of a moose.
And it was NOT magnificent
for they could not make the money move.
Even if they needed the money
because they were not a monster.
The monster was only a mouse
trying to get the money with the help of a moose.
But they could not make the money move. NOT magnificent.
Yeah. My "Sestina" poem for school. I'm not so sure if it's good or not; it's too long to keep my attention. I was supposed to choose related words to end the lines with in a specified pattern, so I did mine all unrelated (but they all start with "m".) Supposedly that would make a random poem according to my teacher, but I think mine makes complete sense.
I ended up repeating phrases almost constantly for some of the line ending words. (Like "NOT magnificent" and "With the help of a moose.") I love the line about the moose. So random, but it makes sense in the context because the poem feels random overall. XD

Antonia
I got to see my new cousin today in Portland! (Yay!) She was born yesterday.
I brought my camera along. I bet you all know what that means...
Here.
http://picasaweb.google.com/sporetape/VisitingOneDayOldAntonia#
In total my mom and I took 148 photos. (Most of them were mine, but my mom took the pictures with me in them.)

No Direction
No Direction
Walking around with no direction.
no direction.
Is this flawed or is this perfection?
Lost without a place in mind.
place in mind.
Is this bad or is this refined?
Unaware of approaching strangers.
approaching strangers.
Are they kind or bringing danger?
I was playing around with rhymes and echos and this is the result. Interpret it as you want; I don't really know myself. I think my writing mind knows but isn't telling me.

Phun!
Well. I have to do a physics related project in Science and was hoping that Phun was available for Mac computers now. It is. (YAY!!! :D :D :D) And it's changed a lot.
The picture doesn't do it justice. Download the newest version here and try it. I'm not sure exactly what it's like for PC's, but I'd expect it to not be too different.
The project in the picture is for a science project related to physics. It'll be a domino effect starting with dropping a quarter in a slot and ending up with a dice getting rolled. (Hence the name "The Gambler." ^^) The assignment is to make a small Rube Goldberg machine. I drew it on paper and was trying to get it to work on here, but it failed. Hopefully it'll work irl.

Athena's Story
Yes. This is my sister's story she showed me. I scanned it because it's an awesome idea. (And I was too lazy to type.) It does have some errors, but she is a fourth grader. It's addressed to her teacher.
Sea Turkeys!
Just awesome. I actually got this, and had to take a screenshot. I love how it sounds.
SEA TURKEYS! :D So random.
Drawings (Gasp!)
Alright. I just randomly drew some pictures on Saturday because I had nothing to do all day. I've never really drawn before, so yeah.
Ok. I wear form fitting shirts, but this is NOT me. (My ears aren't pierced and I NEVER wear hats. Or sit on brick walls. Plus I don't mind wearing form fitting shirts.)
Yeah. It's a pencil that's at the end of its life.
And then there's this one.
So. I also drew a bit more, but I didn't like them enough. My scanner was also being unkind (as scanners often are,) and I had to darken the pencil marks digitally and darkened them a bit too much.
Pictures (Again)
Yes. Well. Athena and I were babysitting my little cousin and I brought my camera along (because everyone seemed to want me to.) I didn't take very many. Around 28, I think. These are my favorites.

Dedicated to Sidewalks
Dedicated to Sidewalks:
Have you ever stopped
and said thank-you
to the sidewalk beneath your feet?
Have you ever looked
behind you and seen
its teary eyes weep?
The sidewalk waits
for a smile
from a friend.
Something it never gets.
Have you ever stopped
and said thank-you
to the sidewalk beneath your feet?

The newest Nitrome game is absolutely awesome. I haven't been able to play it until now because of loading problems, but now it works for me. Play with the sound and music on.

Perfectly Pointless Poem and Jackson Pollock
These are both from and for school, but I'll put them up here anyways.
Perfectly Pointless Poem
This is a poem about
nothing.
It has nothing inside.
Only words on the page.
When you read it
you waste your time
as you stare
and read every line.
and read every line.
So please, please
stop reading
this perfectly pointless poem.
Jackson Pollock:
Splats of paint on a canvas
make your paintings so unique.
Color scattered all about
is the theme of your technique.
But why?
What does it mean?
Why do you force
us to find our own way?
As I look at your
art
I feel confused
with it all
and know I don't want
this on my wall.

More Pictures...
I took about 400 pictures today and kept 160. (Although most are for EGI.) Here are my favorites.
It's bald!
This was growing on my fence.
The end of the world picture
The back of my mom's office
I'm getting more used to switching lenses for different pictures. For the outside ones here, I used my zoom lens from far away. Otherwise I can't do in-focus closeups.
You can find these and soon others with this link.

Camera!!
Well. It's my birthday today, and I got a camera. (Yay!)
It's a Sony DSLR-A230, if anyone cares.
It came in a set with an additional lens, a case, and other things.
Here: photos.

My piggy bank from New York.
Athena had a noisemaker thing so I took some pictures.
Athena again. I like how these two are blurry and the noisemaker's color stands out.

Untitled Poem
Well. We're studying poems in school, and we had to do a poem with different stanzas having different points of view on an ordinary thing. I liked mine, so here it is.
Delicately folded squares
Hang from the string
As if flying
The airplane soared across the room
Before crumbling into the wall
On the fridge lies a list
So that people can remember
With just a glance
Writing on your arm
Is a fine way to take notes
But don't forget your notebook
Because ink on an arm
Will fade
Writing in a book will not
A plate is best
If after you eat
You can draw on it
And change its whiteness to color
The blank sheet holds a hidden treasure
And if you try
You can see the picture before it's drawn
You can see it
Though there is nothing
Delicately folded squares
Hang from the string
As if flying
The airplane soared across the room
Before crumbling into the wall
On the fridge lies a list
So that people can remember
With just a glance

Google Wave
Well. I got myself a Google Wave account and tried it out.
Pretty cool, but I wish they would make it easier to start so more people are involved.

Bib Eats Computers With Salt.
Once upon a time there was a monster named Bib. Bib loved to eat computers. The only problem was that computers were expensive, so Bib rarely got to eat them. This made Bib angry, so Bib decided to rob a computer store. The computer store that he robbed was an Apple computer store, for two reasons. First, Apple computers are better than other computers. Second, Bib thought that apples tasted good too, so an apple flavored computer would be delicious.
Bib was very excited with his plan, so he went into the computer store right when it opened. There were lots of people around, but Bib didn't care. He made sure not to forget his saltshaker, as salt makes computers much tastier. Bib started eating the first computer he saw. It was a little Apple laptop. Bib sprinkled some salt on it and started biting pieces off. Everyone stared. Bib didn't care. He ate all of the computers in the store to the very last one. They didn't taste like apples, but that was OK.
Just a random story.
